To maximize effectiveness, it is recommended to combine Rep-Cal with the vitamin supplement Herptivite. Mixing both products separately is advised, as combining them prematurely could potentially compromise the 'beadlets' of beta carotene in Herptivite due to the calcium content in Rep-Cal.
For optimal nutrition, blend approximately 1/2 tablespoon of Rep-Cal and 1/2 tablespoon of Herptivite per pound of food, incorporating vegetables, fruits, or pastes. To ensure thorough mixing, combine Rep-Cal and Herptivite in a 1:1 ratio inside a plastic bag. Add insects to the bag and gently shake until they are completely coated.
