REP Fitness, a Colorado-based company, was founded in 2012 by two gym-enthusiast brothers. Offering a comprehensive range of gym equipment, from adjustable benches to plyoboxes and dumbbell sets, REP Fitness' gear is designed by in-house, weightlifting engineers for both commercial and home gyms. In Longmont, Colorado, brothers Ryan and Shane Mcgrotty started REP Fitness in a modest 1,200-square-foot retail storefront with a two-car garage. Filled with a few pieces of equipment and stacked bumper plates, their goal was to create a welcoming space where customers' eyes would light up. The brothers aimed to revive the art of customer experience and offer high-quality gear they would personally use and love.
REP Fitness' commitment to serving those who protect our freedom and security drove the company to pledge $100,000 in 2023 to three charities that support military and first responder families: The First Responders Children's Foundation, Folds of Honor, and the Gary Sinise Foundation. Through this initiative, REP Fitness ensures that the donated funds reach those in greatest need and continues its tradition of honoring those who serve our nation and community.
REP Fitness' product line includes the Rep kg Change Plates, designed to help athletes push their limits and achieve new PRs. Available in 0.5 kg, 1.0 kg, 1.5 kg, 2.0 kg, 2.5 kg, and 5.0 kg increments, these plates feature a rubber coating for a secure fit on the barbell and reduced noise and movement during lifts.
