Amcrest's NV4108E-A2 8CH POE NVR comes with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive, which supports up to 10TB of storage capacity. This NVR is designed and recommended for Amcrest branded cameras only, with limited functionality and restricted support for third-party cameras.
The NVR features 8-channel recording and live view in up to 8MP/4K resolution at a real-time 30fps. It offers playback capabilities of 8-channel at 1080p (30fps), 4-channel at 4MP (30fps), and 2-channel at 4K (30fps). Supported AI features depend on the camera model being used, with only 2CH AI cameras supported at 4K@30fps. The NVR itself does not have any built-in AI features.
The NVR utilizes advanced H.265 compression technology, which allows for longer recording times without sacrificing the UltraHD video quality. This technology enables a max incoming bandwidth of 80Mbps, allowing the recording of 8 cameras at 4K using H.264 or 8 cameras at 4K using H.265 with a bit rate adjustment to 1792 on each camera.
The NVR's feature-rich OSD (On-Screen Display) includes camera name, time, motion detection, video loss, lock, and record status icons. It supports multiple trigger/alarm events, such as recording, PTZ, tour, video push, email, FTP, and buzzer. Users can also customize record modes (e.g., manual, scheduled, motion detection) and record intervals (1-120min).
For added convenience and peace of mind, the NVR includes a USB backup feature. It is CE and FCC certified, with UL compliant power supplies, and comes with a full year of US support and warranty from Amcrest.
The package includes the refurbished 4K 8CH PoE NVR with the pre-installed 2TB hard drive, a quick start guide, and a 1-year warranty when purchased from Amcrest. The NVR requires a hard-wired connection directly to the router to operate and supports all Amcrest WiFi and wired IP cameras.
